INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) Sammy Kershaw has pulled out of his show at the Indiana State Fair on Friday on doctor’s orders.
The country singer, who was schedule to perform at the Hoosier Lottery Free stage at 6 p.m., was advised to sit out due to vocal issues, the fair announced.
“Sammy sincerely regrets missing the show and sends his apologies; he was truly looking forward to performing. He greatly appreciates everyone’s understanding, well wishes, and continued support,” the fair said.
Craig Morgan will still hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. as scheduled.
Kershaw’s cancellation follows The Beach Boys canceling their opening day performance on Aug. 7 and Bret Michaels postponing his Aug.12 appearance due to kidney stone surgery.
