INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A new Damar campaign is bringing together some of Indiana’s most recognizable sports mascots to share a simple message: Communication does not always require words.

“Connection Beyond Words” features Indianapolis Colts mascot Blue, Indiana Pacers mascot Boomer, Indiana Fever mascot Freddy, Indianapolis Indians mascot Rowdie, Indy Fuel mascot Nitro and Indiana University’s Hoosier.

The mascots communicate through movement, expression and presence, making them fitting ambassadors for a campaign focused on the many ways people connect.
