
DC police hunt six persons of interest after gunfire erupts in Southeast alley
WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for six persons of interest after a burst of gunfire tore through a Southeast D.C. neighborhood late Saturday night, authorities said.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on March 14 in the rear alley of the 1500 block of A Street Southeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Investigators say multiple suspects entered the alley and opened fire, striking nearby vehicles and buildings.
No injuries were reported.
The suspects fled the scene in multiple vehicles, police said.
Detectives have since recovered surveillance video from the area and are working to identify six individuals seen in images connected to the incident.
