INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Delta is making it easier for IU football fans to be a part of history.
The airline announced Monday that it’s adding special nonstop flights from Indianapolis to Miami for the College Football National Championship game between the top-ranked Indiana Hoosiers and No. 10 Miami Hurricanes.
Delta does not typically offer nonstop service between Indianapolis International Airport and Miami International Airport, and seats are limited.
Flight details
- 2 nonstop flights from IND to MIA: Saturday, Jan. 17 and Sunday, Jan. 18.
- 2 nonstop flights from MIA to IND: Tuesday, Jan. 20.
- All flights on Delta’s Boeing 737 aircraft, featuring Delta First, Delta Comfort, and Main Cabin.
At 10 a.m. Monday, the Delta website showed available seats on all four flights.
The undefeated Hoosiers (15-0) and Hurricanes (13-2) will face off at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Monday, Jan. 19. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST.
