Eatontown, NJ – A dog recovering from a stab wound sustained during a domestic dispute is being held at the Monmouth County SPCA while a related animal cruelty case proceeds through the courts, preventing the animal from being adopted.

The dog, named Trouble, was taken into custody by law enforcement and transferred to the shelter for emergency care after the incident. According to the SPCA, the animal required immediate medical treatment and remains under its supervision as the legal case involving former owners is contested.
