Gregory Zecca, the stepson of Dog the Bounty Hunter (real name: Duane Chapman), has been arrested for the fatal shooting 13-year-old son, Anthony.

Per the Daily Mail, 39-year-old Zecca is facing charges of aggravated manslaughter of a child with a firearm and using a firearm while under the influence in connection with his son’s death. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to life behind bars, per the outlet.

On July 19, the day of Anthony’s death, Zecca had allegedly been drinking and using marijuana for several hours before he began watching a UFC fight and handling a gun in his son’s presence at a Naples, Florida, home, per a Facebook post by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

Though the gun was initially unloaded, at some point a magazine was reinserted, a round was chambered, and the weapon discharged, authorities say.
