DOJ files opening brief for appeal in Kilmar Abrego Garcia case

In 2022, a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper pulled Abrego Garcia over. There were nine passengers in the vehicle alongside Abrego Garcia, but the trooper let him go with a warning. Abrego Garcia was later indicted for human smuggling.
