Dolly Parton tribute artist Kelly O’Brien to perform in Brown County

NASHVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Kelly O’Brien, recognized as a leading Dolly Parton tribute artist, will bring “The Dolly Show” to the Brown County Music Center in October.

Ticket for the Oct. 23 performance will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Prices were not part of a Monday news release from the music center.

The theatrical concert with a live band will include Parton’s greatest hits, such as “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” “Islands in the Stream” and “I Will Always Love You,” plus comedy and rhinestone-studded fashion.

The Parton family has endorsed O’Brien, and Parton Enterprises chose her as Parton’s official body double for film, the release said.

O’Brien was also a United Kingdom finalist in #SearchForDolly, a worldwide casting search for Parton’s Broadway musical.
