
Passerby alerts occupants as flames spark from exterior deck
Denton, MD – A house fire broke out early Friday morning in Caroline County, causing an estimated $20,000 in damage but leaving occupants unharmed, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Firefighters were dispatched around 4:28 a.m. to a one-story, wood-frame home on Burrsville Road after a passerby spotted the fire and called 911. The individual also alerted those inside the residence, allowing them to evacuate safely.
