East Quogue man convicted of first-degree murder for torturing and killing longtime friend

Riverhead, NY – Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced Thursday that a jury has convicted Jeremy Allen, 44, of East Quogue, of first-degree murder and evidence tampering for the brutal 2024 killing of his longtime friend, 43-year-old Christopher Hahn. Allen now faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, the evidence presented at trial revealed a calculated and violent crime that unfolded over several hours at Allen’s East Quogue home.
