Education officials talk about AI in the classroom

After a school district in western New York released plans to have a humanoid robot in their school, education officials called for action to regulate AI’s usage in schools. President of the New York State Unified Teachers Union Melinda Person released a statement disapproving of the plans. She added the district will not be following through with the plans for the robot.
