Chicago, IL – Police are searching for a suspect accused of attacking an 82-year-old man on a CTA platform staircase in Chicago’s South Loop, according to an alert issued by authorities.

The incident occurred around 11:59 a.m. Monday in the 0-100 block of East Roosevelt Road, within the city’s 1st (Central) District. Officials said the victim was battered while on the stairs leading to the train platform.
