Elderly MDC inmate dies at UNMH

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Metropolitan Detention Center said 89-year-old William Pierce Howell has died after being hospitalized. Howell was booked into MDC in December 2023 after being accused of shooting and killing 37-year-old Rastko Starcevic and attacking Starcevic's mother.
