Escaped ICE detainee taken into custody in Jackson Parish; two deputies injured during pursuit

JONESBORO, La. (KTVE/KARD) -- On Dec. 28, 2025, around 1:45 PM, a detainee escaped from the ICE detention facility located at 327 Industrial Drive. The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office (JPSO) immediately responded to the reported escape, and deployed JPSO K-9 Unit to begin their search.
