EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — An ex-chiropractor from the Evansville, Indiana, area who allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with patients, including sexually assaulting a woman, can no longer practice in Indiana.
In April, Attorney General Todd Rokita’s office received a consumer complaint filed by a patient who said she was sexually assaulted by Dr. Aaron King, who was at that time a chiropractor in the town of Newburgh, Indiana. The Attorney General’s Office learned of other patients with whom King engaged in sexual acts. With this information, Rokita’s team obtained a suspension of King’s professional license.
After completing its investigation, the Attorney General’s Office filed formal charges against King’s license, which this month was permanently revoked by the Indiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
“Healthcare providers are entrusted with a sacred duty — one that, when violated through sexual assault and abuse, demands swift and permanent consequences,” Rokita said. “Revoking this former chiropractor’s license ensures he can never exploit vulnerable patients again — safeguarding Hoosier women, upholding accountability, and reaffirming that Indiana has zero tolerance for predators who betray the trust of those seeking care.”
