Ex-Saugerties coach pleads guilty to rape charges

On Monday, a former Saugerties Central School District custodian and wrestling coach admitted to raping two students between the ages of 15 and 16, while employed at the district. Reid Kappler, 32, pleaded guilty to three counts of third-degree rape, according to the Ulster County District Attorney's Office.
