INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman died before dawn Thursday in an I-70 crash involving a Kia car and a semitractor-trailer on the southwest side of Indianapolis, Indiana State Police said.

The woman, who was in the Kia, was not identified in a news release issued Thursday afternoon from state police.

Callers to 911 just after 4:30 a.m. Thursday reported the crash on the ramp from Sam Jones Expressway to I-70 eastbound, east of Indianapolis International Airport, police said.
