Father-daughter lottery trip turns into $210K jackpot win in Virginia

AYLETT, Va. — What started as a simple outing turned into a $210,000 jackpot after a Virginia woman and her father spent the day buying lottery tickets together.

One of those tickets — a Cash 5 with EZ Match — ended up being the big winner in the March 7 drawing.

The ticket was purchased at Chill Stop on Richmond Tappahannock Highway in Aylett.

The winning numbers were 01, 02, 17, 27 and 33.

The winner, Allison Williams, used Easy Pick, allowing the computer to randomly select her numbers.

Cash 5 with EZ Match features a rolling jackpot starting at $200,000, with odds of 1 in more than 1.2 million to match all five numbers.

Virginia Lottery officials said proceeds from ticket sales support K-12 education across the state.
