Fatal stabbing reported in Los Angeles County, Sheriff's Department says

A person was stabbed to death in Compton Friday morning. Detectives responded to the 200 block of Locust Avenue just before 10:45 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. The victim was declared dead at the scene.
