INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Tyler Thomas, a 39-year-old Columbus man arrested in connection with the death of Fishers teen Hailey Buzbee, now faces federal exploitation charges.

Thomas appeared in court on Tuesday and was charged with sexually exploiting a minor and traveling interstate with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct related to the disappearance of 17-year-old Buzbee.

If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison for each charge.
