Female jogger struck by vehicle in Brownsburg

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A female who was jogging in Brownsburg early Tuesday evening was struck by a vehicle, according to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded to a crash on Ronald Reagan Parkway, at the intersection of County Road 700 North, involving a pedestrian struck.

HCSO arrived on scene to find a female who had been hit by a Kia SUV as she was “jogging westbound on County Road 700 North through the intersection.”

She was immediately transported to the hospital with a head injury and police say there is no update on her condition at this time.

The driver of the Kia stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
