Fever fall to Mystics in overtime despite Caitlin Clark’s heroics

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Fever lost at home to the Washington Mystics in overtime, 104-102.

Caitlin Clark knocked down a three-pointer with two seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime. Mystics guard Sonia Citron made a shot from beyond half court, but it was after the buzzer sounded.

In overtime, Kelsey Mitchell had a two-point shot for the tie at the buzzer, but it was off.

Clark had 32 points and made seven threes in the loss.

Up next for the Fever is a matchup against the Seattle Storm. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday.
