Fire prison chief and fix clemency, advocates tell Hochul

Criminal justice advocates rallied at the state Capitol, accusing Governor Kathy Hochul of hypocrisy for demanding federal accountability while ignoring deaths in New York state prisons, and urging her to fire the corrections commissioner and fix the broken clemency process.
