Former Delaware County EMS office manager arrested on theft charges

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana State Police have arrested Delaware County’s former Emergency Medical Service office manager on theft charges.

Police say that 42-year-old Meagan Coutinho stole over $200,000 from several Delaware County agencies. They also say that she claimed and was paid for over 5,800 hours of unauthorized overtime which was worth more than $180,000, along with failing to deposit over $10,000 worth of public checks.

Coutinho faces four counts of felony theft, official misconduct, and a conflict of interest charge.
