LOWELL, Ind. (WISH) — A former employee with Lake County Community Corrections has been charged for having a sexual relationship with an inmate.

In September, staff at the Lake County Community Corrections Kimbrough Center in Crown Point, Indiana, requested an investigation by the Indiana State Police District 13 Criminal Investigations Division. Kimbrough Center staff reported that an employee, Andrea Rebeles, was allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with an inmate and was possibly pregnant with the inmate’s child.
