Former state clinician sentenced for sexually abusing youth at Claverack facility

A former state clinician at Brookwood Secure Center was sentenced on Wednesday for sexually abusing youth. 48-year-old Maya Hayes, of Albany, received 2.5 years in prison and 10 years of post-release supervision for sexually assaulting an individual unable to consent.
