INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Franklin Fire Department has ordered the closure of the Relax Inn and Econo Lodge hotels due to non-operational fire alarm systems.

Both hotels are located in the 100 block of North Lovers Lane. That’s a mostly commercial area along East King Street near I-65.

According to the fire department, recent inspections and evaluations revealed that the fire alarm systems at both properties were not working, putting guests and employees at risk.
