INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Athenaeum’s Basile Theatre in downtown Indianapolis will host a free watch party Monday night for the College Football Playoff National Championship featuring the Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes.
The game’s kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Monday. Fans of all ages can enjoy the game on the theater’s large screen. The watch party will feature food, snacks and beverages available for purchase.
Fans were encouraged to arrive early as seating will be general admission and first-come, first-served. No tickets or reservations are required. The venue promotes that it can seat up to 400 people at tables and chairs.
The Athenaeum, a German-American landmark at 401 E. Michigan St., was built in 1894.
