GARY, Ind. (WISH) — An officer with the Gary Police Department has been arrested for domestic violence and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

On Tuesday, the Gary Police Department was notified of the arrest of Sergeant Jamaal Joseph, a 17-year veteran of the Gary Police Department, by the Portage Police Department. Joseph was preliminarily charged with one count of domestic violence and two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
