Governor Hochul hopes to manage AI's effects

As AI has made an initial impact on New York, Governor Kathy Hochul has sought ways to mitigate its negative effects and foster its benefits. A few years ago, artificial intelligence seemed like a concept for a science fiction movie. But AI technology has transitioned to mainstream America. The governor and others believed AI’s biggest target was jobs.
