Grassy Lake and Pomme de Terre WMA roads closed due to flooding

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has closed several roads on Grassy Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) and Pomme de Terre WMA in Avoyelles Parish due to flooding. Heavy rainfall associated with Tropical Storm Arthur caused the closures, though both wildlife management areas remain open to the public, officials said.
