Great Danes downed by NJIT

When starting guard Zacharie Matulu exited the game with a foot injury, an already shorthanded UAlbany men's basketball team was stretched even thinner, and Matulu's absence proved costly in a 77-68 defeat to NJIT Thursday night at the Broadview Center.
