H Street will remain H Street: Proposal nixed to rename downtown boulevard for Cesar Chavez

Cesar Chavez Boulevard would have fronted the Padre Hotel, the Fox Theater and the Dolores Huerta Peace and Justice Cultural Center, which is currently under construction at 21st and H streets.
