FORTVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — The grandparents of Hailey Buzbee are thanking the community for coming together after their family is touched by tragedy.

A Fortville restaurant on Monday hosted a special event to raise money for the Buzbee family. Hailey was being remembered for her kindness, bright spirit and impact she had on those around her.

“To see a community, a country pull together, it gives me hope because we’ve worked so hard to bring our baby home, and she’s home,” said her grandfather Richard Buzbee.
