Health Spotlight Special | Stay safe and healthy this holiday season with expert advice

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — WISH-TV is proud to partner with Community Health Network to talk about critical health issues in central Indiana as part of Tuesday night’s “Health Spotlight: A News 8 Town Hall Special.”

The holidays are under way and we want to focus on staying healthy: talking about slips and falls, heart health, flu season, and where sick and injured people should go.

So let’s start with injuries. Dr. Matt Connelly of Community Health Network works in emergency medicine and he says there are things you can do to prevent common holiday injuries. “With our colder temperatures coming out, we’re seeing a lot more icy conditions here. Really, our biggest thing is prevention.”
