INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Heartland Film’s signature fundraising event, Cinemania, will return for its third year in April with “A Tribute to Westerns,” celebrating classic tales including “The Magnificent Seven.”
Tickets are $300 each for the April 17 evening event, with group seating options also for sale. The 2026 Cinemania is promoting saloon sips, rustic feasts, boot-stomping entertainment and yeehaw-worthy surprises.
A news release issued Monday said, “Lynda Goeke-Katz and Don Katz are the Honorary Chairs for Cinemania 2026, leading the event and supporting its mission.”
The Katzes are Indianapolis philanthropists and leaders of Max Katz Bag Co. Inc., a plastic fabrication company.
The Heartland Film nonprofit runs the 11-day Heartland International Film Festival in October, the Academy Award-Qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival in July, the Truly Moving Picture Award, and other year-round programs.
