HECO customers may lose power on Hawaiʻi Island, Maui

Strong winds continued on Hawaiʻi Island and Maui as of 9 a.m. on Feb. 17. Hawaiian Electric warned customers of a potential Public Safety Power Shutoff in the next 12 to 24 hours for parts of the islands.
