Hendersonville man faces up to 492 years in prison following convictions on child rape, other charges

In May 2024, Hendersonville police arrested Matthew Ball after launching an investigation into allegations of rape of a child and aggravated sexual battery. On Thursday, District Attorney General for Sumner County Thomas Dean announced on social media that a jury convicted Ball of several counts, including rape of a child.
