February is living up to its reputation as being the rainiest month of the year in San Diego County, mostly because a sprawling Alaskan storm drenched the region Monday through Thursday of this week.

Here are the four-day rainfall totals produced by the National Weather Service, as of 8:23 p.m. Thursday:

Lake Cuyamaca, 6.31 inches; Palomar Mountain, 5.13 inches; Julian, 5.12 inches; Palomar Observatory, 4.75 inches; Skyline Ranch, 3.38 inches.

Descanso, 3.34 inches; Alpine, 3.06 inches; Mount Woodson, 2.89 inches; Otay Mountain, 2.83 inches; Valley Center, 2.82 inches.

Barona, 2.74 inches; Ramona, 2.67 inches; Pine Valley, 2.60 inches; Rainbow, 2.41 inches; Escondido, 2.41 inches.
