This is the time of year that a Bermuda High pressure system typically forms off the southeast coast of the U.S. Depending on its exact position, this high pressure can keep rain chances going across the Mid-Atlantic by pumping in warm and humid air with high moisture content. That’s what we can expect from now through the middle part of the month. A constant feed of humidity from the high pressure will interact with passing fronts and produce times of downpours and thunderstorms.
