Hochul's budget adds $779M to foundation aid, but is it enough?

Governor Kathy Hochul proposed a record $39.3 billion in state aid for schools in her Executive Budget, which includes a 1% increase in foundation aid for every school district in the state, as well as funding for math instruction, teacher shortages, and universal free child care for 4-year-olds.
