INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Bringing women across central Indiana together to celebrate achievements and share resources for success, that was the goal of Friday’s International Women’s Day Conference.

The Asian American Alliance and the Indiana Commission for Women hosted an International Women’s Day conference, bringing together entrepreneurs, community leaders and women looking to grow professionally.

Rupal Thanawala, event chair of the International Women’s Day Conference, said, “This year is special for because this year’s theme is Give to Gain. First of all, it’s my personal philosophy, but then also I want to empower others to give back and give generosity because that’s how we can help each other.”<...
