How Pokémon Cards and other collectibles are treated as financial investments

While only active for a little over a year, the West Texas Trading Card Game Convention is making moves in the Permian Basin. The group started out with only 15-20 vendors at its first showing, but now regularly sees close to 150 vendors pack hotel conference halls, dealing out cards to hundreds more collectors.
