INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana voters will not face new congressional districts in 2026 after the state Senate on Thursday afternoon rejected those maps by a vote of 31-19.

The Indiana House last week had approved House Bill 1032 by a vote of 57-41.

By district, here is how the Indiana senators voted:

• District 2, Lonnie Randolph, D-East Chicago: nay.
• District  3, Mark Spencer, D-Gary: nay.
