DUGGER, Ind. (WISH) — A Bloomfield man is recovering after being rescued from a reservoir in Greene-Sullivan State Forest near Dugger, Indiana.

According to Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR), at 9:22 a.m. Wednesday, three men were attempting to hunt waterfowl when the aluminum boat two of the men were in overturned. This caused two occupants, David Thornton, 34, of Bloomfield, and Coleman Chasteen, 35, of Bloomington, to fall into the water 300 feet from shore. The third man, Kyle Britton, 25, of Bloomfield, was stranded in a kayak nearby.
