INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Six people were hospitalized Wednesday morning following a suspected mass overdose in downtown Indianapolis.

Online police reports say first responders were first called to the Julia M. Carson Transit Center at 201 E. Washington St. just before 10 a.m. to assist a “person down.”

Paramedics arrived and found six people in two locations in the area who appeared to be overdosing. A spokesperson with Indianapolis EMS told News 8 that at least one had a seizure.
