Illinois gas prices rise to $2.99, up 9.2 cents in a week

The average price of gas in Illinois is up to $2.99 a gallon as of February 9, 2025, according to GasBuddy, which is 9.2 cents higher than last week, 11.8 cents higher than last month, and 22.9 cents cheaper than a year ago.
