Immigrant Charged With Attempted Murder After Overnight Stabbing of Roommate in North Jersey

Police say a Fairview officer captured the suspect on foot shortly after a violent dispute left a 60-year-old man seriously injured.

Fairview, NJ – A 50-year-old man was arrested early Saturday after allegedly stabbing his roommate multiple times during a dispute inside a Fairview home, authorities said.

The incident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. inside a multi-family residence on Grant Street, according to Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of Detectives Jeff Angermeyer.
