IMPD makes arrests in two homicides
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 31-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection with a homicide that happened Sunday on the city’s east side, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Tuesday.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the man who died as 26-year-old Keenan Eugene Poe Jr.
Officers found Poe dead in a parking lot in the 3400 block of North Emerson Avenue shortly after 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
IMPD said its detectives searched the area for evidence and witnesses before identifying Michael Oren as a suspect. Oren faces a preliminary murder charge.
