INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A juvenile was stabbed Friday night at Castleton Square Mall, Indianapolis police said in an emailed news media notification.

The juvenile, who was not identified in the notification, was stable at a hospital. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department also did not disclose the juvenile’s gender or age; News 8 reached out to IMPD by email for that information but did not immediately hear back.

The stabbing happened around 8:48 p.m. Friday during a disturbance involving “multiple” people at the shopping mall at 6020 E. 82nd St., the IMPD notification said.

The mall generally closes at 9 p.m. on Fridays.
